Crockett County Nursing Home awarded rare 5-star designation by nationwide rating program

ALAMO, TN – Crockett County Nursing Home has been awarded a rare five-star designation by the federal government's Nursing Home Compare program, placing it in elite company as one of the nation's top facilities in overall quality.

CCNH is one of just a handful of nursing homes in Tennessee to receive a five-star rating in overall quality. The nursing home also received five stars for its health inspection score.

“The five-star award is a tribute to our staff and the commitment they make each day to meet the needs of our residents," said Sherma Crutchfield, administrator of Crockett County Nursing Home.

The five-star rating system was created by the Medicare program to provide information about nursing homes to consumers, their families and caregivers. Ratings are based on inspection reports, staffing levels and an analysis of the facility's performance on a list of quality measures.
